My given name is Jiuming, where J sounds the same as in "Beijing" or "Mt. Fuji". I'm open to any approximation, so please feel free to use your most comfortable pronunciations!

About

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), supervised by Prof. Li Yu. My PhD research is supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). I am also currently a visiting student at the University of Oxford, working with Dr. Parinaz Mehdipour. My research focuses on developing deep learning methods to understand and engineer RNA sequences, structures, and functions. Before my PhD, I received my Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence from CUHK with First Class Honours.
